AntwortenLöschenI think this novel from Nick Hornby is interesting because it is about a teeenager like we are. Sometimes I can not understand every vocabulary but then I can discover these after I read the chapter. Moreover in my opinion this book is quite easy to read. I think we will have an interesting time.. :D

In my opinion this novel is really good to read, because the writing style is more like we would write, so it is easier to understand, although the correct time order is sometimes a bit mixed up. The topic is also well chosen because it is adapted from the everyday-life of a teenager. So it gives the adults a good view into the thoughts of a teenager and we can put ourselves in Sam's place, too.

In my opinion the first two chapters are good to read and understandable. I like the kind of writing of Tony Hornby because while reading the book you have got the feeling you are having a real conversation to Sam. I also agree with Caner and Philipp that Alicia is pregnant. I am excited how the story continues.
I just can agree with my classmates. The novel of Nick Hornby is a kind of modern style and the way we talk. It's easy to understand and to read. The book is very interesting.

I also think that ´Slam´is easy to understand because there aren´t a huge number of unkown words and complex sentences.

I think the novel of Nick Hornby is cool because it is about a boy who tells his problems which maybe help you to make it better.
